Even though I didn’t show today there was still a lot of work to be done including getting my steer, Vern, to eat and drink, washing and clipping. I’m sure glad my uncle was here to help with the clipping! I also did an interview for RFD-TV and I’m really proud of Vern for not kicking the cameraman or knocking over the lights! I think it helps my showmanship when I can watch some of the show to see how the judge is working the classes, so I did that today to help me prepare for the show on Friday and saw some really amazing steers in the show ring. Friday is show day!
